Founded in 2006 as a two-person startup in Ventura, California, VSolvit (pronounced “We.Solve.it”) was built on a simple, uncompromising promise: to transform complex technical challenges into measurable mission results. Guided by founder Payal Kamdar, we forged our reputation early on in the specialized geospatial (GIS) and data intelligence space. Our roots as a certified woman-owned small business established our core DNA—unyielding agility, operational grit, and a relentless focus on solving our clients’ toughest problems.
Today, VSolvit has evolved into an AI-forward information technology and engineering partner to federal agencies. Powered by 400+ professionals across CONUS and OCONUS locations, we engineer high-impact solutions supporting critical global missions for the Department of Defense, USDA, and federal enterprises. As CEO at VSolvit, Payal leads the strategic delivery of advanced technology and AI-forward solutions across federal and defense agencies. Blending executive vision with technical mastery, her background is backed by certifications as a GISP, PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, and CSM. Under her leadership, VSolvit partners with government leaders to transform complex data assets into intelligent, results-driven applications that enhance operational efficiency and mission readiness. Prior to leading VSolvit, Payal served as Director of Database Development and Senior Database Administrator at California Lutheran University and contributed as a Release Manager at Esri.

With over two decades of executive leadership, Ashish has guided VSolvit from its early startup phase into an enterprise of over 400 team members by scaling robust infrastructure and deploying modern technologies. As Chief Strategy Officer, he spearheads our strategic vision, aligning a culture of excellence with an AI-forward approach to solving critical agency challenges. His focus is on turning organizational data into applied AI, machine learning, and intelligent analytics that deliver proven, measurable outcomes for our defense and federal partners.
